Victoria's Story
Life hasn't gone as expected, but still play my music. Mom passed away Aug 31,2012. I'll never be the same. She & Dad were married for 66 years. He's a surprisingly young 91, however a his friends have died. I wish he would try to make friends. I wish I could help him make friends.- My sister, Tina, a '69 SRHS grad has taught music 32+ yrs. Always looking for students. She's a full member of this site. I was only married for 4-1/2 yrs. Substance abuse & denial can be very bad. I have 2 amazing cockatiels who have kept me going along with a cousin, a Drake grad from I think '68. I have lots of pics of the birdies, as I do my dear Tubby cat who died at 16 in 1990. . My birds love to cuddle, play, talk, sing. Anything but boring. I have lots of various photos on G+ as I'm quite into photography. I'm Victoria D there with a psychedelic 4 in 1 profile pic. Easy for me to spot. I still love lots of the same things. Probably a little more relaxed about others. I have health problems that get in my way, but I do what I can to ignore them..not always easy but I try. Recently joined FB. I'm in the groups Lost Marin, You Know You Grew Up In Marin When, and one or two about growing up in San Rafael. I still live in Marin. Never wanted to be too far from family. I'm very blessed with awesome friends. I hope whoever reads this is doing well and takes care.
