Victoria's Story
I lived in Barranquilla (Colombia) with my husband Enrique and my three children, Daniel (22), Pablo (19) and Ana Carolina (14). Since August 2009 Enrique was transferred as President of Cemento Panama, a cement plant owned by the Colombian Cementos Argos, where Enrique has worked for over 25 years.
We moved to Panama since January 5th 2010. Ana Carolina is the only one of our kids living here with us. Daniel and Pablo are attending Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, where they both expect to major in Industrial Engineering. Daniel concluded his studies last June. He's attending London School of Economics taking some courses and will be graduating this coming fall. He will be searching for a job before applying for an MBA. Pablo just started his second year.

chool and so far she loves it. She's really excited to be a Freshman in High School. The boys join us during their vacations and they really enjoy Panama.
I am really enjoying Panama.. very similar to Barranquilla in many ways, and we have many good friends, so we are very happy here, in spite of leaving our family and friends behind. It has been a wonderful experience for us. I love cooking so I've been taking courses at the Academy of Culinary Arts.
I was just named Executive Director of Conexion Colombia Panama, a foundation created for Colombians living abroad where we have to opportunity to contribute to various causes. In the case of Panama, we will be contributing to both countries, as we feel the need to retribute in some way their hospitality. Our first project will be based on education but we plan to help other foundations.
