Victoria's Story
I went to Dunmore High School in PA after Tom Brown Jr. High. Then for my Jr. and Sr. years of High School I went back to Carrol High School in Corpus Christi, TX.
Right after High School, I went to Del Mar College where I completed a Radio and TV Servicing Degree in 1983. I had a short stint as an Electricians Helper and then began repairing video games. I then ended up managing a Retail Shop for approximately six years while I worked other part time jobs in the Corpus Christi, TX area.
My husband and I moved up to the Austin, TX area with Cellular One in 1991. At that time, I opened my own petsitting service and operated in Williamson and Travis Counties. I did that over ten years while working at NationsBank as a Consumer Banker. Once ...Expand for more
I had children, I became a Substitute Teacher.
Our daughter has a severe peanut and other food allergies. Substitute Teaching keeps me close to her while she goes through Elementary School. I was a YWCA Counselor as a child and a YMCA Counselor as an adult in Pflugerville, TX, so Substitute Teaching is a natural place for me. My son is in 4th grade and my daughter is in 6th. Children with severe life threatening food allergies seem to fall through the cracks at school. No one really understands what it means to have your throat close up. I enjoy being close to my children and in a place where there is a constant positive force being initiated. Children are a Positive force and I love being around them. Positive Energy is a wonderful thing.
