Victoria's Story
After HS I got maried and graduated with a BEd from the University of Miami. Taught elementary ed in Miami. Moved to Augusta, Georgia got divorced and met my current husband (Ed Leavitt). Moved to Tacoma, Washington (Ed was an Army Officer and stationed at Fort Lewis). Returned to school and obtained my nursing degree (BSN) from Pacific Lutheran University. Worked as a nurse in psych and medical detox before fining my niche in the Emergency Department. ) as a staff nurse and as for the past 8 years as the Regional Educator for Emergency Services. Obtained my Master's degree in 2006.
After almost 30 years in Washington we will be leaving in about a month for our great adventure - we are moving to Alaska. Ed lived there BV (before Vikki) and always wanted to go back. We just bought a beautiful 3 story chalet on 2 acres in Wasilla, Alaska. I have taken the position of Director of Education at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. I am looking forward to hiking, cross country skiing and te challenge of rural healthcare.
