Life
Graduated from MIT with two engineering degrees in 1973. Graduated from Harvard MBA/JD program in 1977.
Married Christine Anderson in 1976, three children: Gergory (16), Carolyn (15), and Alex (11) as of 2002. Have lived in Cambridge, NYC, Tokyo, and San Francisco.

NYC, Tokyo, and San Francisco from 1996 to 1984, leaving as lead partner in High Technology for the West Coast. Venture Capitalist with Sierra Ventures from 1884 to 1992, a VC partnership which I helped found. Best deals were Stratacom, On Assignment, and Advanced Technology Materials. Re-entered Managment Consulting in 1992 as Global head of Technology and Telecom consulting for Bain and Company where I remain, as of now.
Hobbies include skiing, scuba diving, and photograghy.
