Vincent's Story
Life
Hey old friends,
Life is good. I live in Sparta (Lake Mohawk), very happily married to Kim, and have three children: Kristina, 12; Ariana, 9; and Alec 4.
I run into a few classmates in town once in a rare moon. Through the years, my friendships with John Levy and Ed Haversang have remained close. I get together with Tony Ingemi once every five years or so. John keeps me up to date mostly on his doings in life. Otherwise, I am out of touch with our classmates but welcome renewed contact with old friends.
I live in a old historic home that I stupidly took on the major renovation / restoration of. (This Old House / The Money Pit) Thank God it is just about completed. 6 years of hard labor resulted in a great house, but the time it took away from my young children make be doubt the value of the effort. If anyone needs a cement mixer, scaffolding, nail guns, etc., you know where to find it.

o joined the Lake Mohawk Ski Hawks, a show team we have at the lake along with my two daughters. I read a lot, mostly when I travel. Recently, golf is the game I am trying to learn. It seems that endeavour may take a lifetime.

College
College took forever. I graduated from NJIT (New Jersey Institue of Technology) with a degree in civil engineering and basically a minor in mechanical engineering. While attending college I also worked as a police officer in Fairfield, trading off shifts to attend classes. Police work was frustrating but also very rewarding. Ultimately, as graduation approached, I chose the engineering career; yet, to this day I can not say which is better.
I also worked 11 years as a Firefighter in Fairfield serving my lasts years as an officer. Even the volunteer work involved much training, and I have found the experiences of the emergency services have served me well in the business world I am in now.
