Vincent's Story
Life
Born in Oakland, CA, raised in Vallejo, attended school in Napa, studied Martial Arts practically all of my youth, played violin in the school orchestra. Graduated NTHS, lived all over the place, engaged at one time, got cold feet and left her, joined the Navy, and Accelerating my life. Formerly deployed in support of Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom, formerly stationed at Naval Hospital Bremerton delivering babies, also once a Supply Petty Officer for a Branch Medical Clinic. Currently stationed in Yokuska Japan aboard the USS Shiloh (CG-67) until the year 2008.
Recently married to the former Genevie Bardenas of Iloilo, Philippines, and awaiting orders to attend Surface Force Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman School in August of 2008.
School
I went to Preschool in Alameda, CA at Gardner Primary, Elementary in American Canyon, CA at Donaldson Way Elementary, Middle School in Napa, CA at Silverado Middle, Freshman through Sophmore years of High School at Vintage High, Junior/ Senior at New Technology High School; began college at Napa Valley College, and took a few classes with Vincennes University in Bremerton, WA.
College
Started college in 1998 at Napa Valley College. Took time off and enrolled in Vincenne's University based out of Indiana, but ...Expand for more
attended classes in Bremerton, Washington. I also studied at Central Texas College Abroad in 2005 and 2006.
Workplace
Started teaching Taekwondo at the age of 11 (1992) and continued to teach until July 2000. Hired by Office Depot as a stock boy, promoted shortly thereafter to Lead Cashier/Cust Service/ Computer Tech. Worked for America West Airlines for a few months as a Ground Crew Member. Joined the Navy in late 2001, still in and loving it.
Military
Originally Enlisted in December of 1999, ditched the recruiter and did my "thing." Really enlisted on the 13th of October 2001, Arrived at RTC Great Lakes on the 27th November 2001. Graduated RTC on Febrary 2, 2002. Attended Hospital Corpsman A School in February of 2002, Graduated June 2002, stationed at Naval Hospital Bremerton and worked Labor and Delivery. Formerly deployed in support of Opperation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom with Fleet Hospital 8, where I helped care for over 600 combat casualties. Formerly stationed at BMC PSNS as Supply Petty Officer, Now stationed in Yokuska, Japan on the USS SHILOH(CG-67) after being onboard the USS Chancellorsville (CG-62) and working as Leading Petty Officer for the Medical Department. Currently waiting to attend Independant Duty Corpsman School in the summer of 2008
