Vincent's Story
Traveled most of my life around the world, and this great land. This due to my carreer in the aviation industry. I left Brooklyn in 1966 and relocated to Florida,worked at that time for Eastern Air Lines, yep seen many changes over the years but enoyed every minute of it, haven't we all. While working at Eastern went to college, learned all about flight, received my pilots ratings and flight training degrees .Left Eastern 7 years prior to their downfall can't say for sure but things just didn't feel right (secure) so I left and hired on with Fed Ex. Stayed with FDX till 2002, then took an early retirement. Married an Eastern Air flight attendant but went our seperate ways after amost 17 years of marriage. No children carreers got in the way,one of the reasons it did not work out.
In 1988 relocated from Fed Ex corporate offices in Memphis Tn. holy molly talk about culture shock, but gave my heart to San Francisco Bay, where I lived, worked,and played till 2002. Left San Francisco after retirement and moved to beautiful Sedona, Arizona located just a little under 2 hours from the Grand Canyon. It's about 4500 feet in elevation and if you like the outdoors it has everything to offer.

ld enjoy retirement it didn't take me too long to throw the towel in and say I cant do this. The next thng you know I became a wilderness jeep tour guide for close to 3 years. Fun Fun Fun Oh My. There were days when I would take tourist up to Page AZ. to do river rafting from the Glen Canyon Dam to Lee's Ferry just prior to the start of the rapids through the canyon valley. I have returned to the east coast to take care of my mom due to her failing health what happens next does not sit with me but the man upstairs. I would enjoy hearing from any one that remembers me and the Jay years 59-63

P.S. Before I started my aviation background, and right after graduating from Jay I worked on Wall street for a large law firm. I can remember going outside despite what the weather was doing, and like so many other workers in the Wall Street area,we watched the begining construction, and excavation of the Word Trade Center. The construction crews working below as well as their large earth moving euipment looked like ants and tinker toys.
Who would have thought that there would be a time in ones life to see this very same scene. May they and all of their family emebers be remembered on this 09-11-08
