Vincent's Story
Hello everyone
I've been a member of this site for awhile. I believe it's time to tell my story. I'll always love Cinti. but torward the end of the 70's it really wasn't happening for me. My close friends know the story of those years. I moved to Key West in 1980 to become a shrimper. Let me tell you it's exactly like Forrest Gump except I didn't get rich at it. I eventually began roofing and in 1988 started my own company. We are still going strong with 3 to 5 crews at any given time. I own my home in Key West and a large building where we work out of. It's been a comfortable life here in the Keys. My sister Stephanie Scardina lives in Ocala with my mom. I've had major bumps but always saw them through. My son joshua with Sheila Boedker lives in North Dakota and is 33. My other two sons Vincent and Richard live here in Key West. One is 21 and the other 17. Both taller than I now. I have a blues band and am close friends with Gabriel Butterfield who is Paul Butterfields son. I have had the opportunity to play with some great artists that he has brought to town and recently played at the crossroads in Clarksdale Miss. with Sam Lay who was Pauls first Drummer and Rod Hicks who played with Aretha as well as others. It's a gas having such a fun hobby. I am married and there is a picture of Debbie at the link. Feel free to check it out if you like. Hello to all my old friend and some new ones out there. Come on down to Key West for a visit. I also have a large cabin in the smokies just outside of Gatlinburg where from time to time I meet with old Cincy friends such as Scott Phillips, Mike Patterson, Gary Corbin and several others. I'm 54 and going strong and hope all is well with all of you. Don't be shy. We can't afford to waste time at this point.
