Virgil's Story
Just like Lisa Stansfield sang in 1989;
"I have been around the World and I,I,I...."
Good song from my serior trip and I sing that verse of the song, everytime I go around the planet for the military, which has now been more than 30 times, in 17 years. We are moving again soon.
I am also enrolled at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) working on my Ass. Degree. I hope that I spelled/abv. that right. Oh well or anyway, I need an English and a Math to get my Ass. handed to me. College is a lot easier than high school and this time I will try not to make a career out of it.
I did own my own construction business for nine years but, when the kids were all old enough to start school, my wife decided she wanted to go back to work and she asked me to shut down the business. the local school in Montana and when we moved to Missouri she was contracted to care for and help a small girl with spina bifida in her studies at school. That is how she found out what her calling in life was and became a Special Education Aide. She loves it and I think it take a person with a big heart to do something like that. WOW. or maybe she had a lot of practice from living and dealing with me for so long; she might have told herself, teaching Special Ed. would be a snap in comparison. I will never know.
She now teaches kindergarteners in England which, by the way is the only grade I didn't fail.
Be good and take care of your families.
I will be home, when they tell me I have done enough for my country. USA is #1, trust me I have seen the rest of it, more than once. ~~~There is no place like home...dang, combat boots...not working again~~~
Love, peace and chicken grease.
