Virginia's Story
Life
After graduating from Rowland, I attended MSAC for a few years until I realized what I wanted to be. I transferred to Cal Poly Pomona and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education. While in college, I got married to my childhood Sunday school classmate who is now my wonderful husband of 13 years. Upon completion of my degree I decided that I needed a taste of a "real job". I worked for an international consulting firm in Pasadena for five years as an executive assistant helping clients with outplacement services deal with being downsized from their Fortune 500 companies. hat joy and it has immensely. I put the teaching career on hold in 2000 and have never looked back. Richard and I are very proud parents of 3 beautiful children. Adam, Nicholas and Caroline are the greatest joys of our life. We bought our first house in Glendora, California and think it's one of the best kept secrets in Southern California. I volunteer weekly in my children's school classrooms and quite involved in the PTA. Photography has always been one of my passions so it only makes sense to be apart of the Yearbook committee. I'm really having fun being busy with my kids and seeing them blossom. I wouldn't trade these years and moments for all the money in the world. Life comes by only once.
