Virginia's Story
Life
I attended Elementary and High School in Milford, Illinois. I should have graduated with the class of 1957, but I droped out of school and married Jim Cast who lived in Watseka, Illinois. It is because of him that Watseka High School is on my list of schools. I did attend Sheldon Elementary School for one year and was in Mrs. Elnora Nelson's seventh grade class that is the reason Sheldon is listed as one of my schools, I wanted to see if any of the kids I remembered where members of ClassMates. The reason Bloomington High School is listed is because my brothers and sister attended there and my Grandchildren attended and graduated from Martinsville High School. They are James R. Edwards, Michael L. Edwards, deceased, and Linda S. Edwards they attended Bloomington High School. Kimberly Sue Powell, Christina Dianne Powell and Christopher Scott Baker better known as Willy or W.R. Baker all attended Martinsville High School. I live near Spencer, Indiana and have been looking to see who in the area that I might know are members of Classmates I never attended school in Spencer so I'...Expand for more
m sorry if any of you out there have been trying to remember just who in the world is this person and why can't I remember them. My husband and I moved to the Blomington, Indiana area in 1963 from Illinois with our two children Tamela Cast {Tammy} and Terry Cast {Termite}. My husband Jim worked at Wetterau Foods untill they closed then he worked at Harmon/Motive in Martinsville and retired because ill health from Boston?Scientific in Spencer, Indiana. Over the years I have worked at IU in several of the dorm kitchens also several area resteraunts, and I worked in the kitchen for Bill and Wilma Williams at their Auction House and I also owned Thes Wishing Well Antique Store untill it closed. I tshsen operated the Main Street Antique Store which I retired from after my husband became ill with Parkison's. Now my time is filled with enjoying the time I spend with my husband and children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I hope everyone out who would like to keep in contact will do so and anyone who would like to become a new friend will also get in touch with me. God Bless you all.
