Virginia's Story
Life
All my friends call me Ann.
After graduating from Douglass in 65' I attended Henderson Business College and worked for Universal Life Insurance Co. In 1968 I moved to Charlotte NC. I retired from the US Postal Service after 29 years of service. My last 15 years was in the Marketing Department in Consumer Affairs.
I am married with 3 children Carla - Sherise and my son Marcus-Graduate of North Carolina Central-Durham NC. I have 6 grandsons the older two are 22 years old. My husband(James) is the Bishop and Pastor of our Church-New Beginnings Christian Church of Pageland SC.
Traveling is our favorite past-time. Myrtle Beach SC-Charleston SC and Cruising to Nassau Bahamas-Atlantis-Paradise Island and the Caribbean are our choice Vacation Spots.
My current hobby is genealogy. My Ancestry Tree has over 7000 entries. Traced my maternal ancestors back to 1740 ...Expand for more

I visit Memphis as often as possible. My mom passed away in 1991 and my dad recently passed away in August 2007 How I cherise those good-ole days at Dear Ole Douglass High!!!

Workplace
I work in a very exciting department in the Marketing Department of the Postal Service. Consumer Affairs is also one of the most challenging department. I have worked for the Postal Service for 28 years with the last 15 years in Consumer Affairs Department. I work for Gardenia Watts, along with my co-worker Patricia McInnis. We are three hard working sisters who knows how to handle things. From Postal Policy to Irate Customers. I'm now in that Can Retire any time I want to Club as of Friday, September 28, 2007. Will I ?????.
