Virginia's Story

I graduated from St. Lawrence University where I met my husband, Val Jacobsen, in 1955. He was from West Nyack, NY. We were married in 1956 and were in the Antiques and Appraisal business in Cold Spring Harbor until my husband, Val, retired in 1970. We have three daughters and sons-in-law and 8 grandchildren, all living within an hour of our home. ...Expand for more
I'm active in our church (St. John's in CSH)... have been on several boards over the years doing volunteer work. We have a second home on Sea Island on the coast of Georgia. I play golf and bridge. I'm an amateur photographer, a birder... never miss a local hockey, lacrosse, soccer, golf or wrestling match of the 5 grandchildren who live locally.
