Virginia's Story
Following high school I landed at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ where I earned my diploma in nursing. Subsequently, I married, moved to Virginia (and later MD), and had 2 children. During that time I did a lot of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. When the kids were little we had netting tied around the entire perimeter of our boat. ext 35 years working full time. My favorite job was at Howard County General Hospital (member of Johns Hopkins Medicine) in Columbia, MD where I spent 15+ years. I still miss my friends there! Two years ago I retired and now spend winter months at my home in Gilbert, AZ and the remainder of the year at my home in Columbia, MD. My daughter lives with her family and 2 children here in Gilbert and my son and his wife, who are expecting their first child, live in Baltimore, MD. Life is good. Finally I have all the time in the world to read! Love it.
