I moved away from Pulaski HS at the end of my junior yr to Buffalo, NY. I have longed to return to the city of my youth for years, but my travel has yet to bring me back. Perhaps soon. :) Life gives us twists and turns and takes us in unexpected places. I have lived a good life. I am blessed with 2 wonderful children and 7 grandchilden and a step-greatgrandson. My family is my greatest accomplishment. Last Oct.(08) I was able to take an early retirement. I spent the last 20 years employed with our major Trauma Center in Buffalo. I was clerical support in the Emergency room for 9 years. Every day of that 9 years I said "now I've seen everything"!!! It was an exciting way to earn a living (I could write a book)(Then someone would want to make a TV series....probably call it ER...make George Clooney the star...)oh well... but it took a toll on my blood pressure. I was able to finish my career at the hospital in the Medical Library. Another great job....!! wish I would have gone to college to become a librarian...today with the internet, however, librarians eventually are doomed to extinction.. :( In the 70's and 80's I worked (too many) years at Nabisco. Some good times and then some not-so-good..Mostly uneventful... ...Expand for more
