After working in sales and management at Federal Express for 5 years, I left to work in sales as a manufacturer's rep for two years. I then started my own manufacturer's rep company in 1987. I represent companies in housewares, holiday seasonal, summer seasonal and gift products. We call on the corporate offices of supermarket, drug, home centers and mass accounts in California, Arizona and Nevada. I travel to trade shows a few times a year, but spend most of my time in So. Calif. and Arizona, where my customer base is. My other sales people cover the rest of the territory.
In January of this year I sold and merged my company into another. I am still working with the new company, but only in a limited market now.

007 we opened a new business in Lake Arrowhead California called the Tea Exchange. I had worked on the concept of this business since 2004 researching tea, retail concepts, etc. We sell tea in all forms, but bulk loose leaf tea, to Shaken Iced Teas, Hot Teas, Teal Lattes, Tea Ultimate Smoothies, and more. We added Crepes and Gilato to our menu this spring and it is doing very well. Our store is beautiful, we get compliments from people that visit all the time. My husband designed the store, I did the interior decor with a friend. Our customers come from all over the world since we are in a resort area. Our store is more like a Starbucks or Coffee Bean and Tea, rather than a Tea Room. Our customers have a good time when they stop in.
