Vivian's Story
Life
I took a few years off to earn money for school, then worked full-time while attending school part-time whenever I was able. I finally got my BA in English in 2004! I think I appreciate it a lot more than some people who were able to finish their education in one shot.
I married in 1997. I've worked a variety of office jobs to pay the bills while I worked at my first love, writing, for sporadic pay. I gave birth to my first son, Rivelino Lee Crayton, on 10/6/04. He was ...Expand for more
premature, and he only lived one day. Since then, I have worked long hours in fundraising and media outreach for incompetent cervix, which stole him from us.
His little brother, Dominici Russell Crayton, joined our family on 5/3/06. I took advantage of the upheaval to quit my full-time job. I now work part-time from home to pay the bills, care for my son, and spend every available free moment working on my writing. Now that I have more time for it, my first book is nearly done.
