Life
Wow - knowing that it has been some time since I last heard from anyone in New York (not including family), let alone from Whitney! I happy to say that I'm married (I'm still a newlywed - LOL). I'm a military wife and living in Northern Virginia. You can take the girl out of Brooklyn, but you can't take Brooklyn out of the girl (I sure do miss home!) I have 3 wonderful children. Luis is 15 years old and a Sophmore in High School; Miranda is 3 years old and my baby, Adriana, just turned 1 in August! In a nutshell, yeah my life is pretty busy (to say the least). No I have no intention of having any more children. My husband was married to the Air Force for the last 24 years and Lord willing will be retiring in the next year or so. ill make Virginia our home, but we visit family and friends in New York often (not often enough!) Since moving to Virginia, I lucked out finding work from home while taking care of my girls. I now work 3 days office/2 days home for an Intellectual Property Research firm. My legal background came in handy while looking for employment. All in all life is good and I'm looking forward to the kids growing up and when the kids leave home, my husband and I can retire and do some extensive traveling. My family is well. I have 19 nieces and nephews and the family is still growing. You have no idea what Christmas is like! For those who don't remember - I'm the oldest of 7. My parents own the house in Brooklyn and yes they still in the Southside. Most members of my family visit every year which is great - they get a piece of what life is like down South! Who knows if I hit the Lotto, I can move the whole lot down here!!!!!
