Vonda's Story
Life
I'm married with 3 children all girls ages 16, 12 and
2. I'm a stay at home mom and love it (even thought it is much harder than working outside the home). After graduation I went to school to be a Radiologic technologist. I did that for 10 years until my second child and I wanted to spend time at home. After being married for 15 years we divorced. I went to work for America Online. I remarried March of 06 and decided to have a baby. I found out I was pregnant in June 06 days after my husband left for deployment to the middle east.
My husband is a Family Practice Physician in the US Navy. We live in Middleburg on Black Creek. Life is crazy. My oldest daughter Jamie is a junior at Middleburg high school, Taylor is in the 7th grade and decided to add one more. Danielle is a true miracle. been so tough. I was on bed rest for 3 months. I had an emergency surgery at 20 weeks to save the baby. Then I was in Shands Jacksonville for 6 weeks still on bed rest before she was born. Danielle arrived 3 months early weighing only 2 lbs and 9 oz. She had to stay in the NICU for 6 weeks. So it was a blessing when she came home 6 weeks before she was actually due. She is healthy and normal, I have truly been blessed. The best thing about the pregnancy is I only gained 2 1/2 pounds.
I often wonder what other classmates are up to. My daughter is in journalism and is working on their year book so I let her look through ours. And yes, she laughed and laughed. I love those high school memories and wish I could go back just for a day. Life was good! As life gets so busy I have learned to enjoy each and every day. Now life is great!
