WAYNE's Story
Graduated from Pacific in 1969.
Worked for the U.S. Forest Service (Del Rosa Hot Shots) in 1969, 1972, 1973, 1974.
Drafted in 1970 for U.S. Army with duty at Fort Hood, Texas, in 1970 and 1971.
Worked for the U.S. Forest Service as crew member for Engine Company 323 (Sycamore Station) in 1975, 1976 1977.
Transferred to the Los Padres N.F. (Pozo/La Panza) in 1977 and 1978.
Reenlisted in U.S. Army in 1978 with duty at Fort Ord (HHD, 7th INF DIV). Other assignments: Mannheim, Germany (28th Trans Bn), Korea, Japan, Honduras, Italy, Ireland, Crete, Kuwait, Iraq and 24 states.

ved in second Iraqi War (2003 with 437th Medical Company). Retired at March Air Reserve Base in 2009.
Served as needed as Truck Driver, Food Service Sergeant, Lead Finance Tech, Personnel NCOIC, NBC NCOIC, Platoon Sergeant, Medical Records, Supply, Postal and Fire Fighter.
Married in 1987, widower in 2005. Two children and four grand children.
Interests include, ancient and U.S. military historical research, coins, military antiques, archaeology, geology, fossils, chess, and reading.
