Served in USN, active duty, from 1961-63, Discharged 1965. Reinlisted in 1984 and retired 1999.
Traveled to Pearl Harbor; Diego Garcia; Victoria & Vancouver, BC; Chin He, Korea; San Diego, CA; Port Everglades, FL; Norfolk, VA and Charleston, SC, all with the reserves.
Was onboard the USS MACDONOUGH (DLG-8) at it's commissioning, served 2 weeks on it after joining the reserves, then went back aboard at the de-comissioning, 36 years later.".
