Wade's Story
Post graduation, worked in retail (the old Superx Drug Store) for a couple of years. Joined the US Navy in Sep 74 and spent 20 years there. Retired from the US Navy in Sep 94 and began a second career as an IT professional. Bounced around a few companies in my first several years after retiring from the Navy. In Feb 2001, I landed a job at TNT Logistics, where I was the Help Desk Supervisor until we were sold to a capital investment firm, who renamed the company to CEVA Logistics. freight company in Texas called EGL (we retained the name CEVA). Still in IT, however we call it IS&S now, I now work as a internal audit analyst, making sure our service providers, application owners and business owners are doing what they are supposed to in order to stay ISO certified for several various industry recognized certification.
I got married back in Jun of 78 to Kathleen Dolan in Jacksonville, FL, we have three children, and four grand children. One of our girls lives with us, as well as her twin daughters.
