waldon's Story
After graduation from AHS in 1965, I served in the U.S. Navy for twenty four action packed years.
Worked in mgt, taught business mgt, radio DJ, and 3 movie appearances.
I am now a fully retired disabled Vetran due to service conncted injuries which eventially led to permanent damage of my spinal cord, but I'm walking again and still trying to leave a trail of dust, wherever I go.
My motto is
If it's empty, fill it up
If it's full empty it
and if it itches

I've been married to prim a and proper southern woman for fifty two years, and she some how has stuck
with me, but she says it's been quite a ride.
I have three wonderful sons, ages 44, 51, and 52
and six beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from
13, to 28 years of age, and thre great grands and am am a very involved, and proud Grandfather. I miss Abq. & hope to bring them out there
in the near future
My first job was at a poultry farm in the south valley of A...Expand for more
BQ when I was nine years old , where I got paid .25 cents an hour to shovel chicken manure, gathered & processed eggs. When I asked for time off to go to Church, I was reminded that chickens lay eggs every day including Sunday.
One of many memories I have of my teen age youth is when I was 15,& my cousin Larry and I and two girls rode on the tailgate of a ford station wagon from ABQ to Jemez Springs at about 70 MPH most of the way. My other cousin Tommy followed behind in his car. We had food with us and he had the drinks. He would pull up beside us and hand off drinks to me as I stretched out from the tailgate to get them one by one. I tried handing him a bag of potato chips, but couldn't make the exchange, so we tossed the chips to him one by one and they would hit his windshield and he would reach out and scoop them in. .We were lucky that no one was hurt, maimed or worse, but at that age, you think your going to live forever.
