Life Born in Providence Hospital in Oakland, March 30th. 1949 at 6:30 AM. Went to Kindergarten in Oakland off of 98th. Avenue. I lived on 96th. Avenue, the corner of "A" and 96th. My grandfather owned all the homes on "A" street. Our "Big Fat Greek Family" occupied the homes. Started attending James Monroe Elementary in the 1st. grade. Our family had moved to San Leandro. Attended James Monroe 1955-1962. Attended John Muir Jr. High in 1962-1963. Only went to this school in the 8th grade. Moved to Los Angeles in 1963, near the LAX. Attended the 9th grade at Orville Wright Jr. High. Moved back to the Bay Area to San Lorenzo. Began attending Arroyo High School as a Sophomore in the 10th. grade in 1964. Graduated from Arroyo High School in 1967, the same year that all my San Leandro friends graduated from Pacific High School. I went on to Chabot College from 1967-1968. I was an English Major, Psychology Minor, hoping to become a Kindergarten Teacher. I left college after one year, attended MTI Business School in Hayward and graduated in 1968 as a Medical Receptionist. I got a job at Eden Hospital in 1970. I worked there for 15 years. I was a Sunday School Teacher for over 25 years, 4-6 years olds. I was married the first time in 1971 - dissolved 3 1/2 years later. I had a daughter Lisa, born June 26, 1972. I remarried to my current husband in 1978. We lived in Union City from 1978-1999. My daughter attended American Heritage Christian School K-12 in Hayward, Fairway Park. My husband was down-sized from Pac Bell after 30 years of employment in 1995. We bought homes, remodeled them, took the money and retired to Elk Grove, CA, South of Sacramento in 1999.
