Walt's Story
In high school I was one of those tweeners who who could never figure out wether to officially be a full blown frat or greaser. Had my Leonardo Strassi knit shirts and Sansabelt pants but also had white Levis and madras shirts. Hung out at the Dipsey Doodle on Telegraph but also ventured to the Big Boy and Henry's on Woodward.
After graduation I had a wonderful two year experience traveling to exotic places with the United States Marine Corps.

of Hospitality Management (formally known as Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Mgmt.) Married Pam LaPointe "66" and we have two wonderful daughters and two beautiful grandchildren. Worked in a few food related industries before venturing off to owning my own business. Those included, during a 30 year period a bowling center and two lounge/restaurants. Sold off the last in April 2014 and have been waiting for Pam to retire from an administrative position within one of the school systems. We have lived in the metro area all our lives and have been in West Bloomfield for the past 30 years. Still have contacts with at least 20 Southfield grads who attended SHS from 65 thru 69.
