Walter's Story
Dear friends has it really been over thirty years now? MY how time flys.
I have been working in the mining industry with the same outfit (ASARCO) for 29 years now hope to be able to get another 15 years yet. As for my leasure activities I have become an avid Road Bicyclist. Just finished my fourth EL TOUR DE TUCSON bike race (109)miles, timing was not all that good but I did finish in one piece and under 9 hours. Have been living in Tucson for 12 years now prior to that in Leadville CO , what a contrast dont mind returning in the summ...Expand for more

July 2012 , hi all still living and working here in Tucson. Still working with ASARCO 32 years now. Still an avid cyclist just over 2000 miles so far this year . Right now kind of slow as I am waiting on delivery of a new bike frame hopefully within the next week or so. Will be taking some vac. time at the end of this month and head back up to the colo. high country. Still holding on to property in the Gunnison country that my grandfather picked up back in 1946 . that is my summer getaway
