Walter's Story
Life
After high school I joined the Army and became an Arabic speaking translator in Desert Storm and various other Middle Eastern disturbances (wars). I got out in order to lengthen my life expectancy. It has worked so far. I then took my GI money and studied Latin American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. zoria Co. and the Army. Included in that time period was a failed attempt to live in Freeport. That poor town had completely shut down! I am currently making a living as a Spanish translator for the US Coast Guard. I help coordinate search and rescues and law enforcement with all Latin American navies. It is a pretty cool job. Even though I'm back in the military, I still my live my life on my own terms as much as possible. It can be exciting from time to time.
