Wanda Mae's Story
I Entered S.S.V.C. in 1960. Left the school in 1966 when my brother Robert McKay graduated. While at Scotland I was on the Cheerleader Team and also the swim team. If I knew then what I learned through the years after I left Scotland School, I would have stayed at the school with all my dear friends. I've been married to my second husband since 1987 and I had three children to my first husband. My first son passed away due to an accident on his motor cycle back in 1989 at the age of 17. My other two children have blessed me with 6 grand children. I also have 4 step grand children. I'm a computer geek, love to garden, an artist, crafts, love the beach and animals. is my brother Robert. I suffered a heart attack back in 1908 and am fighting depression and weight gain. I love to study the Bible and I dabble in poetry.
Even though I had to move on in life without my good and dear friends from the school I have never felt more love than I did while at Scotland. Now that I'm older I look back at those days as a treasure, And God only knows where I'd be today if my life would have been any different. Regrets -- I have a few-- but all in all Scotland is my honored past and pride.
I have as of 2013 become an ordained Minister, I earned an associates degree in 2012 for Christian Studies and my Bachelor Degree in 2013. holding a GPA of 3.1 in Church Ministry
