Wanda's Story
Life
I am 60 years old and married with two adult children and six grandchildren. I retired when I was 50. I was a medical transcriptionist for 20 years. I find plenty to do with 3 dogs and 6 grandchildren. My husband still works and really doesn't want to quit. My kids and grandkids all live in Jacksonville, FL as well as the rest of my family. I have traveled to England, Scotland and Ireland with my husband's company. I've been to London 5 times. (Don't want to go back). My husband has "traveling feet" so we have also traveled all over the US. He is from New England and loves to go back up there. (Western Upstate NY). We just got back from 10 days in Vermont and NY. l in Camden County (Woodbine). My Dad bought a grocery store in St. Marys in 1962. I had some wonderful times in high school. Times I'll never forget. I've also been to Mexico and some islands. I love to travel and hope to do so for a long time yet. We lived for three months in Niagara, NY. I love reading walking and Jazzercise. Can't seem to sit still. I would love to hear from people who were at CCHS from 1962 to 1966.
When I was in CCHS I was in the band and pretty quiet (sometimes). Came out of my shell about the 11th grade. Ha! I remember Mrs. May's classes. I hated them. I liked Mr. Brock a lot though and also the Home EC teacher. I tried to date as many boys as I could. That's about it.
