Life
Attended Hagerstown Jr. College 1967-1969 - Received AA degree. Served 3 years in Army Security Agency (1969-1972) Stationed in southern Germany as electronics repair specialist. Worked for Pennsylvania based defense contractor from 1972-1993. Started out as electronics technician. Attended Drexel evening school and received BSEE degree in 1978. Worked my way up through the ranks until I was laid off in 1993 with 20 weeks of severence pay and 7 weeks of accrued vacation. I was a Staff Consultant at that time. for my masters degree at my next job. Found another job 7 weeks later designing telemetry equipment and enjoyed two paychecks for the next 20 weeks. Enrolled in the Drexel graduate engineering program. Hated the 1 hour commute to my new job and jumped at the opportunity to work for a cable TV test equipment manufacturer two miles from my home in Quakertown in 1996. Completed my graduate work in March of 2000 and received MSEE degree. Applied for and received a position at a semiconductor manufacturer in Arizona in May of 2000. Married since 1979 and have an 8 year old autistic son. Enjoy radio controlled airplanes as a hobby.
