What a long strange trip it has been :)
Wow...really do need to update more frequently...assuming anyone else ever pays the $ to keep up.
The river that was so much a relaxing interlude came crashing over its banks in June of 2006 and took out my house and business. It was then I discovered that flood insurance is a waste of hard earned money and FEMA was nothing but promises and no delivery.
I moved to PA and began to rebuild my life when the natural gas rush started here. As ...Expand for more
a local resident with oilpatch experience, I was able to land a very lucrative job and am doing well here. This area leads the nation economically, and the recession was something we read about in the paper.
In addition to my job, I am also a contributing editor to a publication called Transport Topics.My wife breeds miniature dachshunds.
