Warren's Story
After Wayne High I attended and graduated from Michigan State (BA & MBA). Took some time off and backpacked out west one summer then got serious as a CPA and later a mortgage banker. Founded Chicago Bancorp in 1995 and sold my interest in 2007 to become a cattle farmer in Alabama. Hope to keep that up until I'm 80. I married Debbie Schroeder (class of 68) in 1970 and we are still together, raised two girls (one adopted thru Korea and the other biological). Been bles...Expand for more
sed w/ 3 grandchildren.. Completed a couple marathons, but mainly got into triathlons for 5 or 6 years where I sucked at first but eventually was doing pretty good on the swim portion, great on the bike and had no speed on the run. One great memory and accomplishment was for Ashleigh's 16th birthday I asked her what she wanted. Her response was "I'd like to climb a mountain". So we went to Colorado and climbed Long's Peak reaching the summit. Incredible challenge.
