Wayne's Story
Life
I graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School in 1983. I left for Parris Island Marine Recruit Depot shortly thereafter. I spent 20 years in the USMC. I retired as a Chief Warrant Officer. I have been all over the world including Japan, Korea, Iwo Jima, Hawaii, Scotland, Germany, England, Greece, Italy and Ireland. I am a Desert Storm veteran. I have also Participated in Operation Southern Watch in Saudi Arabia, Operation Northern Watch in Turkey, Operation Deny Flight and Allied Force off the coast of Yugoslavia. Update July 2007. I live in New Bern, NC. I have a daughter attending ECU and a 10 year old son from a previous marriage. I am remarried and have a 3 year old daughter and a 4 month old son. I work with the USMC as a government contractor repairing radios and training Marines to use the radios.
I enjoy relic hunting for civil war relics with my metal detector. I am also a huge NASCAR fan. Go Bobby Labonte!
