Wayne's Story
Life
I have fond memories of Philomath .
I still visit there . I have lived in Seattle the
last 40 years. I am retired after working as a transit
driver and working with the county police with transit
security problems .
My family left Philomath in 1960 after the plywood
mill my father managed ...Expand for more
burned . We moved to Eugene
then the redwoods in northern Calif, back to Eugene
where I graduated . I worked for the Bi Mart co.
in Eugene and Corvallis. I followed my brother
Keith to Seattle in 1968.
I enjoy vintage vehicles , keeping a bueatiful yard
and taking a trip now and then to Arizona.
