Served three years in the US Navy, received a BS degree from SFA in 1970, M Ed in 1974; taught science and health at Crockett Junior High School, ICT at Crockett High School, and was Vocational Administrator for CISD for six years. Worked as a Vocational Supervisor for Windham School System (Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice), and taught Horticulture for the last five years with Windham. I retired in March, 1995. My wife Kathie and I started growing and selling daylilies (cherokeehillsdaylilyfarm.com) in 2005.".
