Wayne King:  

Life I was born in Portland, Maine and we moved to Ocala, Fl., when I was five years of age. My father was a chef at the Silver Springs Resturant. I learned to swim at the Springs when I was six years old and I really became a family to all those who worked at the Springs. I graduated from Ocala High School in 1966 and joined the U.S. Army. I went to Vietnam in 1966 and from there to Kaiserslauten, Germany. I got out of the Army in 1969 and went to work at Ross Allen's Reptile Inst., at Silver Springs milking rattle snakes and wrestling alligators and I was the Sheriff at Six Gun Territory Amusement Park at the Springs. I married my sweetheart Lynda and went to work on the Seaboard Coastline Railroad as an investigator. In 1973 the Lord called me to preach and I resigned from the railroad and went back to college where I graduated in 1978 and from there Lynda and I and our two boys went to the Caribbean as missionaries. I returned in 1988 and went to work with the Marion County Sheriff's Office as an administrator, and during that time I started the Shiloh Baptist Church of Belleview, Florida. I also went back to college and got another degree in Psychology and Counseling. I guess thats not bad for a young man who graduated from high school the last of his class. My college days and university days I graduated the top of my class with honors. Lynda and I have now been married 40 years and the Lord blessed us with two boys. College I really enjoyed my college days at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo.. It really prepared me for the journey set before me. Lynda and I and our two boys were B.B.F.I missionaries for 14 years to British Honduras and Jamaica. In 1991 I started the Shiloh Baptist Church of Belleview, Fl., and the Lord has blessed us much.
