Life
Career was with Life Of Virginia Ins. Co. Left Atlanta in April 67, began Agency Management Career in Cocoa, Fl. Ended up in Richmond, VA. Jan. 80, retired in Feb 93, as Vice President Agency and Marketing. Wife Linda and I have 5 Children, 4 boys and 1 girl, and our daughter, Lyndi, lives in Lawrenceville, GA.,and son, David lives in Forsyth County. Linda is from Raleigh, NC. We have lived in Ocala, Fl. since Oct. 98, very active in Local Baptist Church, I have served as Music Director, adult Bible Study teacher and we sing Gospel Music in various Churches and for other events. n My parents who have both passed away, buried in DeKalb County and my older brother, Wendell, buried in Columbus, Ga. Atlanta will always be considered home with most of my family, one brother, GARY, and cousins living in area. We have had great reunions and luncheons for our class, recalling many wonderful memories. Yes we had some great times, it was truly fabulous to grow up when we did. (I never quit dancing and played drums and sang in ROCK & ROLL Bands in and around Atlanta until age 22) In Aug. 07 I got into Motocycles and love to go on short trips, especially to Daytona Bike week,and other events. We have 27 members in our motorcycle club in the senior community we live in here in Ocala. Who said seniors don't still have fun!!!
