Went to Valpo after LHN; met my wife there (Kathy) Married now 53 years. Taught at LHN for 5 years, 1970-1975; coached Basketball, Baseball and Golf. Entered Insurance/Investment Business 1975. Company transfer to Iowa in '77 and now in Des Moines,Iowa. Retired 18years ago at age 55. Play golf now (only on days that end in "Y"). Have two children, Julie age 47and Andy, age 43. Two grandkids, Emily age 23and Luke, age 20 Play Acoustic Guitar now, or at least try. Lessons every week. Like to travel now, mainly outside of U.S. Have been to Ireland(golf), France, Switzerland,Monaco, Italy, and Germany 5 times; have German friends there; and Cabo San Lucas. Would like to do the Western U.S. National Parks. Also have done Britain and Scotland, and Alaska and the West Indies Cruises. Still support LHN through a scholorship in my Dad's name. Each year a committee from St.John's picks a needy student that wants to go to LHN. My wife and I see to it that they get a chance to go there. Has been a real good experience f...Expand for more
