Wayne's Story

WOW, Time does fly by. I went to work for Boeing until I was given the option of commuting to Everett every day or saying goodbye. Easy decision so goodbye Boeing and hello Bethlehem Steel. Twenty two years later the plant was sold and I was offered a position with the new company but their anti-union stance grated on me so I said bye bye before I even got started. I then decided to just retire and enjoy my life long hobby of building high performance/competition engines and transmissions and some street stuff for a few people. h bigger deal and became more like a job/business than a hobby so that had to end. A short time later I met a wonderful woman who was also retired. Two years later I was lucky enough to have Eva agree to marry me and we have been together for twenty two happy years. We spent several years traveling the world, until we had our fill of that. We then spent a few years traveling around this great country on our motorcycle but now we spend our time staying closer to home and just enjoying life as best we can. All in all I would say I have only one regret but no complaints and that is just fine with me.
