At Samuell my Dad owned Buck Moore's BBQ on Buckner. I drove a green 1940 Ford. Married 50+ years.
I earned BA in English at UNT, and MA in English at Texas A&M Commerce, and a PhD in English at UNT. I received distinguished alumnus award in Higher Education award from UNT.
Two grown daughters with granddaughter and grandson.

I do consulting work in strategic planning, educational facilities programming, and am certified Porsche Club High Performance Driving Instructor.
I have 1968 Porsche (in the garage -- update 2012 sold the 68 Porsche) and race a 1968 Datsun SPL311 in SCCA GP (update SOLD the Datsun and parts). Have new 2013 Porsche Boxster S.
I taught English at Samuell from 1968 to 1975.
Have done some traveling -- Europe (Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, Alaska, Eastern Canada, Canadian Rockies, "Tail of Dragon" in North Carolina/Tennessee) In younger days did lots of camping/hiking in the west - Grand Canyon, Crockett National Forest, Big Bend, Gila National Forest, Brice Canyon,
Also for the book visited and took photos in all auto museums in Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Hope to do museums in the NE USA in near future.
