Wendie's Story

Life After school, I went to Merritt Davis Business College and graduated in 1982. I have moved around Oregon some, living in Eugene, Newport, Albany, and Salem. In June '09, I moved to Battle Ground, WA, to be closer to my sister, Kristen. I have been married to Michael (Mike) Garland from Salem, OR, since New Year's Eve, 1995, but we are currently separated. We have a wonderful son named, Jon, born in February, 1998, who lives with me. He is definitely my pride and joy!! I have a dog and two cats. I worked in the Title & Escrow Industry from 1984 to 2010 as an Escrow Officer and as an Aministrative Assistant for Management. I am now currently on Medical Leave due to chronic Migraine Headaches. I enjoy the good days and rest on the bad days. Having my family "late in life" gave me the opportunity to travel and enjoy the sun in Hawaii, Mexico, and Florida; and do some snow skiing in Nevada, Utah, Colorado and Oregon, ...Expand for more
of course. Now, I enjoy spending time with my family . . . I spend time at my mother's cabin down on the Elk River outside of Port Orford; and I enjoy boating and riding Wave Runner's at my father's vacation home in Post Falls, ID. My mother, her husband and my grandfather still live in Coquille. So, I do get down that way occassionally. And I still get confused with which way the street directions are ever since they changed them! My sister, Kristen, and her two daughters, Rachel and Jenna, live in Battle Ground, WA. And my sister, Stacy, and her husband, Terry, live in Oregon City. Stacy's daughter, Kerrin, and son, Kyle, from her previous marriage to Robert Smith are grown now. Kerrin and her family live with Stacy in Oregon City; Kyle lives in Oregon City. And my sister, Nicole, lives in Santa Monica, CA. Hope everyone is doing well!!
