Wendy's Story
Life
I've been on classmates for quite a while and I've watched it grow. I've reconnected with many old friends that I realized after that I missed a lot. Everyone's lives turned out differently than we imagined in school yet we all have wonderfull stories to share. Some even better than we imagined!
My life like most has taken many turns. I went to college, ran wild for a while, lived with a musician, traveled most places I wanted to go, lost most of my family through sickness yet found many new friends. I've had many different jobs, one favorite was selling Greek salad and shish ka bob as a street vender in Boston. I grew a wonderful family, bought a home, started my business, grew fat and got skinny (lol), adopted my daughter, cub scout leader and Teen crisis mentor too. I've picnic'd on mountain tops and been amazed watching Dolphins play beside us in Bar Harbour Maine. I was even foolish enough to ride the machanical Bull in Texas at "Mickey Gilleys"( that was ...Expand for more
rough) but my best times were and still are watching my children grow, my dogs romp and spending time with my friends and family.
The best things in my life are my children and Kenny. The kids are a mix of his, mine, adopted and somebody elses. Their ages are from 25 down to 13. Many still live at home and I couldn't be happier! I also have 3 big dogs to mess up my house just incase I miss little feet running around.
My job keeps me young (and tired) I'm a family childcare provider almost 20 years now. I have a great group of parents. Last year while I was sick, going through Chemo and radiation for Breast cancer they were the greatest! They all stayed and were flexible about my treatments and were very supportive. I would have gone crazy without my daycare kids under foot each day. You'd be amazed how well they did while I was bald! No wigs for me!
I hope everyone has discovered, realized or created their dreams and has had as fullfilling a life as I have had.
