Wendy's Story
I actually left LPCI at the end of Gr. 12, but '72 would have been my graduating year had I completed Gr. 13. I took Hotel Admin training and stayed in that business for 10 years. I headed back to the west coast in 1978 and continued working in the hotel business in Vancouver and Whistler. I took a few years off to travel around and live in Asia. I then returned to university as a mature student and got my B.Ed from SFU in Vancouver in 1990. I subsequently taught English and Business in Japan, Korea and Egypt. I returned to Canada in 2000 and in 2002 married an American pilot I met in Japan. I now live part time in Nashville, TN and part time in Vancouver. ...Expand for more
I have returned to Toronto several times and always have fond memories of my time there. Unfortunately, I have only managed to keep in touch with Robin Taylor (who also lives in Vancouver), Nancy Graham and recently via e-mail, Angus Watt. I would love to get in touch with Molly Watson, Ron March, Pat Bradshaw and Sue Groves. If anyone knows their whereabouts or contact info, I'd be happy to hear from you. I'm now retired and spend my time travelling and enjoying life.
PS: Don't let my profile picture fool you - it's not my Rolls Royce. I was attending my nephew's wedding and just wanted a glamorous shot! I tend to ride a bike more than anything else!
