Wendy's Story
Life
From NHS I went on to Clark University, leaving there with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a husband, Joel Nowak. We moved briefly to Michigan for Joel's MSW, and for a U of Michigan housing job -- we were dorm directors for the football team! Back east, this time to NYC, where Joel got a Masters in Educational Administration, then went into business as a commercial real estate property developer/manager on Long Island, and I got a Masters degree in Public Health administration and then a Masters and PhD in Clinical Ps...Expand for more
ychology. I am currently a senior psychologist at a Brooklyn hospital, with a broad private consulting practice. Joel and I have two sons, Dov is 24 and a graduate of Brown University; he currently teaches theater at Saint Ann's school in Brooklyn, and is a gifted actor/musician/director/producer/designer (my brother's genes, I guess!). Max is 18, now finishing his freshman year in the Honors College at University of Michigan, hoping to major in poli sci/public policy/pre-law. He'll spend this summer working for the Brooklyn DA!
