More about Wendy:"In my former life I was television news anchor/reporter for the ABC affiliate in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (my first job out of college). s knew I wanted to be home with our kids, and I left the agency biz when we made the move to the 'burbs and I was pregnant with Peyton. Although I do have a consulting practice, my life revolves around family -- Parker and I have been married since 1993. He is a genius creative at Leo Burnett (think Samsung and Nintendo). We have three of the most endearing, bright and happy children -- who just happen to all be gifted athletes with mad swimming skills! Banistre is 14, Cooper, 12, and Peyton, 10. Banistre swims for HInsdale Central and was an Illinois Junior Olympic swimming champion when he was 10. Coop and Peyton have both qualified for the national zone meet in individual events. Only the best of the very best qualify for "Zones." Peyton made her first zone cut barely a month after her 10th birthday. She finished 4th at "State" and 10th at Zones this summer. All three have this drive to succeed and a passion for the sport that is truly remarkable at such a young age.".
