Wendy's Story

I will be 47 this May and I feel as though my life has just flown by. Let's see... I was a big achiever after high school. My value system was based on my parents need for me to be successful in some form or other. So I did just that. I married my high school sweetheart and then sadly divorced. Ended up building my own solid practice in the field of Commercial Interior Design. Achieved financial success and then realized that it didn't make me happy. I am now married to an Architect and we have an African American daughter, Kamisha, who is the absolute joy of my life. I continue to work on creative commissions for clients - be they design or "hand-craft" - but my most fulfilling role is being my beautiful daughter's mommy. I am very active as a volunteer in several organizations and serve as a board member. As well, I work for Adam Koffler - a Canadian Philanthropist and Board Member of the World Jewish Congress, as well as the Sun Valley Center for the Arts - working to coordinate their summer Arts Festival. My husband ...Expand for more
and I work on residential design related projects together. We live in the mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho - the oldest ski resort in the US. It is undeniably a fabulous place. A high desert climate with tons of snow and hot summers... not to mention fabulous skiing. My life is a dream come true and I am grateful for every minute of it. Every experience, good or bad, is a step on the path of your life's journey. I truly want to continue on my path of learning, loving and living and want to be remembered for giving, loving and caring about the people in my life that mean the world to me. Write to me if you wish - it would be fun to connect with my "old" acquaintances. Because I am sentimental, I enjoy reminising so don't be afraid to connect. Spring is just around the corner and it's my favorite time of year. I get nostalgic for my youth more and more but would never trade the wisdom for it. Isn't it funny how we feel just as young but are all approaching the 50 mark? OMG I cannot believe how fast time has past me by.
