Wendy's Story
I used to spend my time panning for gold, wind surfing, dancing at the club, and barking at the seals on the pier at Fisherman¿s Wharf. Now I have been doing 18+ units in school (and loving it, will miss it in fact) and have just about finished my Medical Assisting degree. I plan on being a Clinical Trials Research Coordinator when I grow up so I will have to go on to get my Masters in Psychology and Social Work, but will have to take a few years off from school to replenish ...Expand for more

It is kinda scary thinking about going to work, as it is something I have not been able to do in over 5 years. I spent the last 5 years or so being a pincushion and have been in remission for the last three of those. All it took for remission was four different chemotherapy protocols, radiations, and a bone marrow transplant. (Hodgkin¿s is not the ¿good¿ cancer.)
I hope that everyone is happy, healthy and doing what they love.
