Wendy's Story
Life
I went to Suffolk Community College. I worked for Mitsubishi Corp. on Park Ave in Manhattan for 6 yrs. I went to Japanese School and I read and write in Japanese. I went to Japan in 1992, what a beautiful place! I lived in Manhasset with my parents, and then Long Island City in my first apartment. I had brain surgery for a very serious brain tumor, and I was cured of a very painful tumor that was supposed to kill me! I was married to a man from Greece, but when I was sick he left me. I lost my job, which was in all the news, because of my brain tumor. My boss told me I was going to die and he didn't want me to die at work. I sued them alongside the EEOC. I was successful with that, and I was in all the newspapers and Womans World Magazine did a two page article on me and the case. I worked for a few companies as a temp until I was blessed with a son, Robert. He is four years old and of course, I think he's the best boy in the whole world! Yes, I am a mom! Also, I am married to a suffol...Expand for more
k police sergeant, who happens to be my best friend. Two years ago, I was in the news yat again! I was dragged by a #7 train at Grand Central Station in Manhattan with my son. I was on channel 7 news for three days and in every paper. It was a nightmare and I am still recovering. I broke a rib, fractured my shoulder, hurt the tendons in my hand and a disc is out in my neck, which causes major headaches. But, I am LUCKY! I am alive to be with my family and watch my son grow up. I am a stay at home mom and enjoying my son soooo much!I won a photography contest and my picture is hanging up in Stonybrook Hospital, I actually have a certificate from that contest, it was fun. So, you see, life is very calm now! I have reconnected with some of my school friends. It's so nice. Even some that I didn't really like in school ended up being friends now. I hope your life has not been as crazy as mine and I wish you the best of everything!Send an E-mail.
And I am expecting a baby in May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
