If you don't want to read a particular book, OK--don't read it. But don't tell me I can't read it. If you don't want your kids to read it, OK--tell them not to. But don't tell me what my children may or may not read. And if your children read it anyway--well, if you can't make your children obey you, then you may need the help of a master's-qualified professional, but that masters shouldn't be in library science, but rather in child psychology or social work.
"Do you ever have one of those moments where you'd kinda like to rant and rave on facebook, but stop yourself because 1) you don't really want your business out there, 2) it would just make things worse, 3) you'd say something inflammatory, derogatory or hurtful - while you still mean it at the moment, doesn't really help anything, 4) if you're too vague, you'll get a million questions you won't answer 5) the wrong people assume it's about them or 6) the right people don't care or don't even see it, 7) flip jokes, silly comments or humorous stories from people not in the know would just tick you off even more, 8) several people will tell you "how much worse they had it when ..." or 9) the normally wonderful people on your friends list answer your purely rhetorical questions, 10) you realize there isn't a "disable comments" option on posts or 11) if you mention that, people will pop with up links, apps or instructions on how to do just that?
