Montgomery “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”  ― Dr. Seuss ‎"May you live as long as you want, and never want as long as you live." Peter Drucker ‎"Our achievements of today are but the sum total of our thoughts of yesterday. You are today where the thoughts of yesterday have brought you and you will be tomorrow where the thoughts of today take you." ~Blaise Pascal ‎"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." -Albus Dumbledore "A little rebellion, a little adventure--that's good, healthy even!" Missing someone isn't about how long its been since you've seen them last, or the amount of time since you last talked. It's about that very moment when you're doing something and you wish they were right there with you. "If you work really hard, and are kind, AMAZING things will happen." Conan O'Brien “I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.” — John Burroughs "A good tattoo ain't cheap and a cheap tattoo ain't good!" "Promise me you'll always remember: you're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." ~ Christopher Robin to Pooh "If you believe in telekinesis, raise my hand." -Kurt Vonnegut "If you are going through hell, keep going." -Winston Churchill "If ignorance is bliss, shouldn't more people be happy?" "Be yourself; everybody else is already taken." -Oscar Wilde "Minds are like parachutes; they only function when open." "Hug like you're never going to let go. Kiss like there will never be another chance. Love like you mean it, every minute of every day." -Unknown "Whatever you are, be a good one." -Abraham Lincoln "Life is what happens while you're making other plans." - John Lennon "A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person." -Dave Barry 1) "I have as much authority as the Pope. I just don’t have as many people who believe it." 2) "So far, this is the oldest I've been." 3) "Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things." -the late, great George Carlin "I love you, not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you." -Roy Croft "I went out to find a friend and could not find one there. I went out to be a friend, and friends were everywhere." "To laugh often and much; to win respect of intelligent people and the affection of children... to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo Emerson "I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out o...Expand for more
f control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." — Marilyn Monroe "When God closes a door, he opens a window" Follow through Make your dreams come true Don't give up the fight You will be alright 'Cause there's no one like you in the universe Muse "Happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder. . ." (Thoreau) "Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it's yours." Ayn Rand I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll This time, I feel my luck could change ... It's gonna be a glorious day Radiohead Learning is a gift. Even when pain is your teacher. "Winning is not normal and those who constantly win follow an ‘abnormal’ path. The discipline, dedication and sacrifices are incomprehensible to those thousands standing outside, looking in, who are capable of joining the winning team, yet unwilling to pay the price of admission. Winners win in a fair effort, on a level playing field, because they deserve to win... they willingly pay their dues in full, time after time, after time." Barking Spiders!! "Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."" "it will all be okay in the end... if it's not okay- its not the end." 'Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?' said Alice. 'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said the Cat. 'I don't much care where --' said Alice. 'Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat. '--so long as I get somewhere,' Alice added as an explanation. - Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland It ain't nothin but a thing. If you're lucky enough to live in a house by the lake... you're lucky enough. If you don't want to read a particular book, OK--don't read it. But don't tell me I can't read it. If you don't want your kids to read it, OK--tell them not to. But don't tell me what my children may or may not read. And if your children read it anyway--well, if you can't make your children obey you, then you may need the help of a master's-qualified professional, but that masters shouldn't be in library science, but rather in child psychology or social work. "Do you ever have one of those moments where you'd kinda like to rant and rave on facebook, but stop yourself because 1) you don't really want your business out there, 2) it would just make things worse, 3) you'd say something inflammatory, derogatory or hurtful - while you still mean it at the moment, doesn't really help anything, 4) if you're too vague, you'll get a million questions you won't answer 5) the wrong people assume it's about them or 6) the right people don't care or don't even see it, 7) flip jokes, silly comments or humorous stories from people not in the know would just tick you off even more, 8) several people will tell you "how much worse they had it when ..." or 9) the normally wonderful people on your friends list answer your purely rhetorical questions, 10) you realize there isn't a "disable comments" option on posts or 11) if you mention that, people will pop with up links, apps or instructions on how to do just that? See, look there, Prairie. 11 Very Good Reasons Not To Rant And Rave On Facebook. That's wasn't so hard." by Prairie CurvyDog Householder".
